About the Course

Now enrolling for Fall 2026 Term, which begins September 1st and concludes December 4th (Enrollment for Winter 2027 Term will open once Fall Term has begun.)

Each Term has a duration of 13 weeks: 12 weeks of instruction and a student recital in the final week. Your student will be assigned a weekly lesson time slot for a specific day of the week and time (for example: Thursdays from 2:00pm-2:30-pm). The recital date in the final week is still TBD.

Personalized lessons for individual students who either dream of playing piano, play another instrument and could benefit from partnering piano with study of music theory, or voice students who would like to develop enough proficiency to play their own melodies or to accompany themselves.

These individual, weekly, half-hour voice lessons will provide your child with the fundamentals of piano playing as well as cultivate in them the art of intentional, skillful practice. Most students practice until they get something right. American Dream Duet Conservatory students learn to practice the right skills in the right way until it's actually harder to perform anything wrong.

The Three Stages of Student Development with ADDC are:

  1. Amateur: Nurture each student's inner drive to engage with music and build joyful familiarity with musical language

  2. Musician: Train skillful musicianship, familiarity with standard repertoire, and courage to perform solos

  3. Artist: Fine tune mastery of the chosen instrument, unique self-expression, and confident stage presence

These half-hour beginner lessons develop your novice student to the Amateur level as one who truly loves music and enjoys participating in its creation. Half-hour lessons will also be a good fit to transition your student from Amateur to the more intermediate level of skilled Musician.
