General Terms and Conditions
American Dream Duet
Effective Date: June 30, 2025
These General Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of services provided by American Dream Duet, including but not limited to private voice lessons, wedding and worship music services, and crystal singing bowl services ("Services").
By booking, purchasing, or participating in any of our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Booking and Payment
1.1 Voice Lessons

Lessons must be scheduled in advance via our booking system or by contacting us directly.

Payment is due before first session.

Packages (if applicable) must be used within specified months of purchase.
1.2 Music Services for Events (Weddings, Worship, etc.)

A signed service agreement and [50%] deposit are required to reserve your date.

The balance is due at the wedding rehearsal (or one day before the event, whichever comes first).
1.3 Crystal Singing Bowl Services

Bookings must be made at least 7 days in advance.

Full payment is required to confirm your session or event.
2. Cancellations and Rescheduling
2.1 Voice Lessons

Missed lessons will still be charged unless it's a true emergency (as determined by the studio)
2.2 Events (Weddings, Worship, Crystal Bowl Events)

Deposits are non-refundable.

Cancellations made within 14 days of the event may be subject to full payment.

Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur additional fees.
3. Client Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate and complete information during booking.

For event services, you are responsible for providing all necessary details (e.g., location, schedule, song choices) no later than 7 days before the event.

For voice lessons, students are expected to arrive on time, prepared, and with required materials.
4. Service Provider Commitments

We commit to delivering services professionally, punctually, and with care.

In the rare event that we are unable to fulfill our obligations due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, emergency), we will offer an appropriate substitute or rescheduled (makeup) lesson.
5. Health and Safety

If you are experiencing illness, please notify us.

For crystal bowl and voice services, clients participate at their own risk and should consult a physician if they have health concerns.
6. Use of Media

With your permission, we may take photos or videos during services for promotional use.

You may opt out at any time by notifying us in writing.
7. Liability

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of our services.

You agree to release and hold harmless American Dream Duet and its agents from any and all claims arising from participation in services.
8. Intellectual Property

All teaching materials, music arrangements, and sound recordings provided are the intellectual property of American Dream Duet and may not be distributed or used commercially without permission.
9. Governing Law
-
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
